Undergraduate degree with high 2:1 honor (i.e., overall average of at least 65%) in Law or a degree with at least 70% law content, or an equivalent international qualification and grading.
Exceptionally, you may be considered where a comparable academic level has been achieved through other graduate studies (such as a Graduate Diploma in Law) and where work or experience (at least three years legal work experience) has made you a suitable candidate for the LLM.

The MAts Law (Top-up) aims to extend and improve the understanding and competence gained via professional qualifications and to enhance the ability of students to think strategically about Society and Law change within Law.
This programme is designed for (Postgraduate) a Social work graduates and provides a means by which the continuing professionals and society needs Law of Development, practitioners can be met.
This programme will broaden your specialist knowledge previously gained at a professional level. In particular, the module, ‘Law research project’ guides you to research into the key challenges of law professionals face in the social. This module aims to Law professionals with the necessary skills to undertake independent project work within a social management context. The Research Methods element provides you with an introduction to research, types of research methodology, formulating and planning a research project, data collection, analysis, and presentation of research findings based upon an actual overall law and society focused topic.
